2022 Frisco Arts Walk and Run

On a clear Saturday morning, YES members gathered together at the Frisco Arts Walk and Run event. The Frisco Arts Foundation holds the event celebrating their 25th Anniversary and the 20th anniversary of the Texas Sculpture Garden with this sold-out event success.

Participants ranged in age from 2 to 78 and traveled from 6 states: Illinois, Georgia, Minnesota, Florida, Washington, and New York, and over 30 Texas cities. This event is held as a race along a 2.8k route with Frisco arts performances along the entire course. Organizations and families convene together at Hall Park to appreciate and support the arts at this event. Funds raised from the Frisco Arts Walk and Run will go towards Artist Resiliency Grants, Ladies Who Launch Grants, Minority Artist Grants, and Youth Scholarships. Frisco Arts Foundation Celebrates the 25th Anniversary. Interactive artistry activities such as singing performances, painters, graceful dancers, and talented musicians fill the morning air with the beauty of the creative arts. The artists include Nutcracker dancers from Collin County Ballet Theater, singers from Melody of Hope, painters from the Visual Arts Guild, and musicians of all ages and more. At the end of the path, an announcer and a group of cheerleaders cheer people on to the finish line, and participants are rewarded with a race medal to finish off the race with an accomplished fulfillment. The race records every participant's race time and differentiates multiple age groups with the top three runners in the age group

being rewarded with an art composition made by local artists to bring home.
