YES provides High Schoolers with the resources, knowledge, opportunities, and tools to become the leaders and entrepreneurs of the future!

Youth Entrepreneur Society (YES) was established under the direct support of the U.S. China Chamber of Commerce Dallas (“USCCC”). We began in August of 2018 and quickly gained support in the Asian American community.  Since then, YES has established itself as an organization for young adults that will prepare these high schoolers for their futures as leaders and as prominent businessmen and women.

Youth Entrepreneur Society is an elite group of students who are dedicated to the betterment of their community, their future, and themselves. YES is for 9th through 12th graders in the DFW area and spans over eleven school districts, while covering both public and private schools.

The vision of YES is to establish a business platform for our next generation, lead them into the business world, provide them with tools to navigate through the business field, encourage their entrepreneurial spirit, familiarize them with the basic issues of business operations, and connect them to mentors and potential business partners.

YES works through workshops, company visits, speaker series, personal interviews, event hosting, etiquette training, business plan, and pitch formulations, and internship and shadow visits to help participants grow in leadership, communication, business acumen, and professionalism to enhance their future career in their chosen profession.

Currently, YES holds monthly meetings with notable guest speakers with different backgrounds (the likes of which have included CEOs and mayors) and conduct official business tours (one of which was with AT&T and their Global Headquarters). We also provide our members with many opportunities to get involved in their communities. YES strongly believes in the progression of professionality through experience; just listening to other people's success stories won't create yours. For this reason, YES partners with local businesses to provide opportunities that can strengthen essential skills--  no matter what field members may pursue-- like public speaking, posture, and making a strong first impression.

Our newly introduced junior program, Junior YES, which started in the 2019-2020 school year, is now available for 8th graders, so middle schoolers have the opportunity to get involved in their community and further their career interests even before starting high school! They will be active onlookers and shadows during our meetings and are welcome and encouraged to participate in other events YES hosts and/or sponsors.

So, what are you waiting for? Just say YES!
