WHAT IS Y.E.S?

Youth Entrepreneur Society is an elite group of students who are dedicated to the betterment of their community, their future, and themselves. YES is for DFW Area 9th through 12th graders. YES spans over eleven school districts and covers both public and private schools.

If you are interested in a career in business or are just curious to explore your options, YES is a great place to start. We hold monthly meetings with notable guest speakers (the likes of which have included CEOs and Mayors) and conduct official business tours (one of which was with AT&T and their Global Headquarters). YES can connect you to many different resources, even if you're not as interested in business as other fields. If that's the case, don't worry! We have many members who are interested in Law, Medicine, and Business. We try and conduct our meetings and invite guest speakers to fit every member's interest!

So, what are you waiting for? Just say YES!

Below are the qualifications an applicant must meet before applying for YES.

A candidate should be responsible, accountable, reliable, and willing to become an active leader within the community.

  • Students must commit to attend 50% meetings and participate in projects, business tours, and events.

  • Students must be in grades 8-12 by the school year of application.

  • Students must agree to sign the Code of Conduct, Time Requirements, and other policies and procedures if invited to join, which will be done during Orientation during the annual August Kick-Off Meeting.
