The Frisco Arts 5K Walk & Run at Kaleidoscope Park on October 18, 2025, brought the community together for a lively celebration of fitness, musical talent and a variety of the arts. What was a cloudy and relaxed morning quickly became a welcoming hub of the community, where sponsor booths drew crowds and united the people.
Before the race, YES members received shirts to represent them and the YES society, while also being provided with delicious snacks to get them energized and prepared for the oncoming race. The 5K run welcomed all; runners or not, and winded through luscious scenery and gentle slopes.
To prepare furthermore, the YES community joined together for a group warm up which helped set the tone for what was about to be an active and energetic morning.
Soon enough, at around 8:35 AM, the race commenced.
The countdown sounded, excitement on the rise – and in no time, 800 participants were off to the races in what would serve as a reminder of Frisco’s beauty.

As they traveled down the path, they were greeted by an array of talent: from harmonic orchestras and bustling bands to individual performers and group dances, these elements made for a vibrant path that all could enjoy. These performers created a festive atmosphere, their art and constant words of encouragement motivating runners and keeping spirits high throughout the course.

Not long after the echo of the countdown, many began to complete their races, securing spots on the podium and achieving high placements within their respective age groups. These commendable finishes were awarded with prizes such as beautifully handcrafted community artworks or even specially crafted glass trophies.

And of course -- this event would be nothing without the help of our community sponsors, along with the leaders and volunteers that made this possible in the first place.

In all, the Frisco Arts 5k Walk & Run concludes in triumph as another successful year of athleticism, performative prowess, and growth of a community is celebrated in unity.
